Dr. Patricia Lonnon is the founder of LCA. LCA has served many residents in various capacity for over 20 plus years. Dr. Patricia Lonnon is dedicated to changing lives in various communities one at a time.
Brenda Stokes has been an educator for over forty years. Her journey began by receiving a BS in Early Elementary Education from Armstrong Atlantic University now known as Georgia Southern University (Armstrong Campus) in Savannah, GA. She also received a Master of
Education Degree with a concentration in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University Graduate School.
Brenda started her career as an educator in Seffner, FL where she taught for two years then relocated to Louisville, Ky. and was appointed the Preschool Director of the Emma Minnis
Seventh-day Adventist School. Relocating again to Atlanta, GA, she decided to re-enter the world of public education. She accepted a position as an assistant teacher in a seventh-grade
behavior disorder class. This experience would prove to be a valuable learning experience that would prepare her for several positions that she would hold. The last move would take her full circle back home to Savannah.
Her experience in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System as a teacher started and ended at Butler Elementary School where she spent 29 exciting years. Brenda has also served as the youth and children’s ministries director of the West Broad
Seventh-day Adventist Church. She has traveled within the United States as well as internationally as a presenter for those who work with children and youth with the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist. She continues to mentor leaders at the church
and in the community who work with youth and children.
